Doctors:

Dr. Bruce Guillory: Dr. Guillory was reared in Hessmer, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Animal Science in 1977 and a Masters degree in Reproductive Physiology in 1979. Dr. Guillory graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and has practiced at Kees Park Animal Clinic for the past twenty-four years. He is managing partner and president of Kees Park Animal Clinic.

Dr. Frank Fitzgerald: Dr. Fitzgerald was reared in the Lecompte, Cheneyville area and graduated from Lecompte High School in 1957. He entered Texas A&M and graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1963. He brings more than 40 years of experience to the practice of veterinary medicine. He is a member and past President of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the Central Louisiana Veterinary Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, The Texas Veterinary Medicine Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Tracey Ann Benton: Dr. Benton has been working at Kees Park Animal Clinic since it opened in 1990. Dr. Benton was born and reared in Lafayette, Louisiana. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Dr. Benton received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 1990. She is currently hospital director and a partner in the Kees Park Animal Clinic.

Dr. Brenda Woodard: Dr. Woodard was raised in Natchitoches parish and after completing high school moved to Baton Rouge for nine years to attend Louisiana State University. Dr. Woodard received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 1983. She works part-time at all three of our clinics and is the full-time director of the Veterinary Technology Program at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. She enjoys working with pets and their owners and it is especially rewarding for her to be working along side veterinary technicians who graduated from her program at NSU.

Dr. Christy Elster: Dr. Elster grew up in Shreveport and then she moved to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University. She completed a B.S. in Zoology at LSU in December 1990. In May 1995, she graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing in Central Louisiana since that time. Dr. Elster joined the staff of Kees Park Animal Clinic in February 1997. During the month of May that same year, she married her husband Mike Phillips. They have a beautiful daughter, Olivia, who was born in March 2003 and a son, Ryan, who was born in October 2004.

 

Technicians:

Pam McConnell:  Pam is from the Alexandria area and is a graduate of Northwestern State University.  She has been working for Kees Park Animal Clinic since she obtained her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology in 1986.  Together with her husband, Tim, they are raising three boys Dustin, Tyler and Scott.  Along with the three boys they have a golden retriever, Shadow; a yellow lab, Mia; and a bird, Buddy.

Heather Wainwright:  Heather has worked at Kees Park Animal Clinic since her graduation from Northwestern State University in 2002 where she received an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology.  She is originally from Glenmora, but currently lives in Pineville with her husband Dean.  Together they are raising two cats- Blair and Shortstop, and three dogs- Ray, Suzi, and Little Man.

Suzan Poche:Suzan Poche is a registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Northwestern in 1994.  She has worked for Fitzgerald Animal Hospital and Kees Park Animal Clinic since graduation.  Suzan and her husband Doug have were married in 1984 and have a Boston Terrier named "Bella".  Suzan can be found working in her garden at home or traveling to Missouri or North Carolina with her husband and Bella to visit family during her time off. 

Bookkeeper

Tina DeSoto:  Tina is from Marksville, Louisiana.  She is a 1987 graduate of Louisiana State University at Alexandria with an Associate Degree in Computer Science and is currently working on her B.S. in Business Administration.  She joined the Kees Park Animal Clinic staff in January 2006.  Her family consists of her husband, Jamie DeSoto, and his daughter, Alexis.  They have a German Sheppard, Lili Belle, and a cat, Tucker Louise.
